⑦ Before the Tomb of Won Gyun

During the Lunar New Year holiday in 2021, while passing through Pyeongtaek with my parents, I happened to see the tomb of Won Gyun — the Joseon naval commander who replaced Admiral Yi Sun-sin and lost almost the entire fleet at the Battle of Chilcheollyang in 1597. I was so shocked that I took a few photos.

The tomb of Won Gyun
There is even a memorial hall. What is it meant to commemorate?
A cultural heritage site of Gyeonggi Province?

Ah! Even now, I am at a loss for words.

But I must say this one thing:

"One who does not know shame is not a human being."

For those who may not know much about Won Gyun, I add three YouTube videos below (in Korean).

If you disagree with me and have something to say to me, please be sure to watch the three videos below before you say it.
